Seeds of Jesus
It was a cold February in 2014, and I was about to embark on what I can only say was the greatest spiritual journey of my life. Nervous and anxious, I didn’t know what to do. So I did one of those things where you pick up the Bible and turned to a random page, hoping for a message from God,
And there it was—Job 1:21:
“Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I shall return there. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.”
“And this could not have been more true. The good Lord, Jesus Christ, had given me so much in my life. And now, He had taken everything away.” and In that moment, I could almost feel the hand of Jesus on my right shoulder saying to me, “Come with me, I have something to show you.”
And so I did.
And that’s when I began my journey to find Christ.
Several years later, as I was coming out of one of the most difficult periods of my life—and may I also say, one of the most blessed periods of my life— and I felt as though Jesus was speaking to me again, and this is what he said:
“I am the sailboat, my virtues and values are my sails, and Jesus Christ is the wind who takes me to where I need to be.”
At the time, I had not yet figured out what my virtues and values truly were. I believed I had some—but they were not biblical virtues and values.
Now, years later, in 2025, as a Christian and someone who has studied the faith deeply, I went through another difficult period in my life. It was short-lived—only a couple of weeks—but out of it I felt Jesus speaking to me again,
“I am the sailboat, my virtues and values are my sails, and Jesus Christ is the wind who takes me to where I need to be.”
It was the saying from years ago and I thought to myself: It’s time to put it down on paper. And so I did.
What I have for you—and for the world—is simply that: All the biblical virtues and values that you will find in the Bible. I have found that as long as I live my life within these virtues and values, life goes pretty well. And sometimes, when I fall or wander off the narrow path and start to feel pain in my life, I always come back to the virtues and values to see where I’ve gone wrong.
And I go wrong all the time.
However, it is these virtues and values that pull me back to the narrow road that leads to Christ. It works so effectively in my life that I want to share it with the world. It is my goal to put these virtues and values into the hands of as many people as possible.
This is my ministry.
